Our Founder
Anna founded Flagship Global, formerly The Flagship Group, in 1997. She has over fifteen years of experience conducting executive searches for the investment industry.
Prior to starting Flagship Global, Anna was Vice President, Manager of Executive Search for Putnam Investments in Boston. She was responsible for directing the company’s internal executive search function. Her accomplishments at Putnam Investments include the successful start up of a new department, the hiring of numerous executives for a broad range of functions, and a significant reduction of the company’s average search duration.
Before joining Putnam, Anna was an Associate in the Boston office of Heidrick & Struggles, a premier executive search firm. She executed the candidate development activities for directors, presidents, and vice presidents for Fortune 500 companies as well as venture-backed companies.
Anna currently serves as a founding member of the Denver chapter of the Quantitative Work Alliance for Applied Finance, Education, and Wisdom (QWAFAFEW), and as a member of the Education Committee for the International Association of Financial Engineers (IAFE). She is also a member of the International Association of Corporate and Professional Recruitment (IACPR) and has served on various committees including the restart of the Boston Chapter and the executive committee as National Program Chair.
Anna’s academic background includes a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Massachusetts / Boston.
